At Peppers Martinborough Hotel you can choose from sixteen individually designed guest accommodation rooms all named after early settlers to the region or early winemakers such as Henry Bunny, Bidwell, Martin, Chifney, Wilton, Riddiford and Weld.

Indulge in the elegant surroundings of one of our nine Verandah Rooms, located at the top of the grand flight of stairs in the original 1882 building, or take a wander through the pretty courtyard just beyond the lobby and enjoy the tranquillity of seven spacious Garden Rooms finished in a restful simple country style.

Whether you choose a historic Verandah Room or the more contemporary feel of a Garden Room, there's utmost comfort throughout. Plump armchairs, fine quality bed linen, our special range of toiletries and of course a very comfortable bed.

Verandah Rooms

Verandah Rooms are located on the first floor of the hotel opening out onto a deep balcony. Each boasts its own individual character, aged wooden floors, luxurious Persian rugs and Chinese porcelain. Feature shower only.

Heritage Verandah Rooms are located on the first floor of the hotel opening out onto a deep balcony. Each boasts its own individual character, aged wooden floors, luxurious Persian rugs, Chinese porcelain and deep old fashioned claw foot tubs along with a shower.

Garden Rooms

Garden rooms are comfortable and spacious, with a more contemporary feel. They can include a king size bed or twin beds and open onto a quiet leafy courtyard. All rooms feature large showers only.

Shek O Suite

Make your way up a private flight of stairs and you will step into the light and luxurious Shek O Suite. This accommodations style takes on a dreamy feel with the colours of beige and duck egg blue, an elegant iron bed head and miniature oils of Wairarapa barns. Relish in the comfort of steamer chairs on your own private verandah where you can admire stunning views out to the Tararua Ranges mountains, often snow capped in winter. The Shek O interconnects with Beetham downstairs if required, which is a great option for families or is often used as a bridal suite. Available in king or twin with bath and shower.
