The Lakes Restaurant creates modern New Zealand cuisine with a contemporary flair making the most of the finest seasonal produce available.
Your choices include a selection of hot and cold canapé, noodle boxes and sweet canapé perfect for informal standing receptions or as pre-dinner canapé as well as antipasto and cheese platters also suitable for seated receptions.
The three course menu features exquisite dishes that can be served plated or as platters to each table. Your dining experience could begin with Carpaccio of beef fillet crusted in thyme, sea salt and black pepper served with thinly sliced radish, pine nut, parmesan and aged balsamic followed with a supreme of salmon over leek tart, chilli and mint sauce finished with avocado oil and peppered rocket as a main. For dessert a mouth-watering passionfruit and raspberry brulée tart with tantalise taste buds.
Each menu is complemented by a wine list featuring renowned labels, particularly award-winning New Zealand wines. A selection of spirits, liqueurs and port is available upon request.
