At Peppers Clearwater Resort you can choose to do as little or as much as you like all within the boundaries of our premises.
Fly Fishing
Our resident fly fishing instructor and guide provides comprehensive practical lessons with personalised service and can organise hire equipment and licenses. The abundance of brown and rainbow trout in the various lakes and streams at the resort ensure this is a pleasurable experience. We can also arrange off-site fly fishing expeditions in remote locations. Book a picnic hamper and enjoy the thrill and challenge of fly fishing. The trout fishing season runs from 1 October through to 30 April.
Golf
The championship golf course designed by John Darby in consultation with Sir Bob Charles, is home to the New Zealand PGA and offers players a choice of five tee positions. It is a challenging yet enjoyable course for players of all levels. For more information view the golf section of our site.
Tennis
Two all weather tennis courts are available for hire. Bookings and equipment hire are available through the Golf Shop.
