The Rakinui Restaurant is open daily for breakfasts and dinner, offering a wide selection of international cuisine and hearty local fare in elegant surroundings with spectacular views across Lake Tekapo. The restaurant offers a relaxed and casual dining setting with outdoor dining options in warmer weather.
The restaurant has developed a taste of the South Island on a plate, showcasing Mackenzie Country’s finest cuisine with locally sourced ingredients. Just an hour out from the resort, free range pork and venison are sourced from Pleasant Point Butchery. Salmon is sourced from High Country Salmon and free range eggs come from an organic farm in Fairlie, all less than an hour from the resort. The menu features modern New Zealand cuisine with a contemporary twist and changes regularly to ensure local seasonal produce is offered. Complimenting the menu, is a wine list featuring a wide range of award wining New Zealand wines.
The Rakinui Lounge is open for drinks and snacks daily where guests can unwind amongst comfy sofas or enjoy fireside pre dinner drinks.
