As there is no road access to Peppers Awaroa Lodge, organising the journey to the lodge is an important part of your stay.

By Boat

The access ramp at Peppers Awaroa Lodge makes getting on and off the beach hassle free – there is no need to get your feet wet.

Abel Tasman Sea Shuttle
Departing from Kaiteriteri, the Abel Tasman Sea Shuttle holds up to 70 passengers and will take you on a scenic journey along the coastline of the National Park pointing out features and providing commentary along the way.

Abel Tasman Aqua Taxi
Departing from Marahau, the Abel Tasman Aqua Taxi operates a small boat which gets you close to the scenery and wildlife on the way.  Designed for the more adventurous, the Aqua Taxi will get you to the lodge with speed.

By Air

The sky is the limit when getting to Peppers Awaroa Lodge.

Tasman Helicopters
From Nelson or Motueka, enjoy a scenic flight along the coastline and land in the lodge's wetland. Tasman Helicopters also offer 'heli lunches' for up to 6 people at the lodge's café.

On Foot

Peppers Awaroa Lodge offers an opportunity to discover one of New Zealand's Great Walks. Guests arriving at the lodge can walk part of the coastal track and have their luggage brought over on the water taxi. The lodge is the ideal place to spend the night on the second day of the walk, if you are departing from Marahau.

Alternatively, there are plenty of options for day walking on the track for guests who are staying at Peppers Awaroa Lodge.
